Why converters do not work
The game rebuilds every replay from positions, inputs, and events each time you watch it. There are no frames inside the file to convert. Websites that promise a .replay to MP4 conversion either do nothing or ask you to install a screen recorder, which is the method below.
Set up the recorder
Install OBS Studio (free). Add a Game Capture source for Rocket League. Set the output to 1920x1080 or higher at 60 fps, and use your GPU encoder (NVENC on NVIDIA, AMF on AMD) at a high bitrate. NVIDIA ShadowPlay and the Windows Game Bar also work if you prefer a one-key recorder.
Prepare the replay
Open the replay from Profile, Match History, Saved Replays. Hide the HUD for clean footage. Use the timeline to jump near the play, then rewind a few seconds so the clip has a lead-in.
Choose the camera
Use the scorer's own view to show the mechanic as the player saw it. Use the free camera for a cinematic angle, a slow orbit, or the defender's side of the play. Record the same play from two or three cameras, then pick the best take in the edit.
Slow motion
You can slow the replay down in the viewer, but a 60 fps recording of a slowed replay can look choppy. For smooth slow motion, record at a higher frame rate, or slow only the key second of the play and keep the rest at normal speed.
Edit and export
Cut the clips in DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or Premiere. Export vertical 1080x1920 for Shorts, TikTok, and Reels, and 16:9 for YouTube. Keep each short clip under 60 seconds and start on the action.
